Ashley Keay
Chief Executive Officer
Hi I’m Ashley and I’m the Chief Executive Officer of SAAS, I was diagnosed with Autism during my teenage years. I started as a volunteer in 2018, then became a Trustee and Treasurer in 2019. In 2021 I was employed by SAAS to help grow and move the charity forward as the Chief Executive Officer. In my role I will endeavour to ensure SAAS has a sound stable financial basis going forward.

Hi, I’m Salwa and I’m the Chair of SAAS, I’ve been involved with SAAS since July 2019. I’m involved in increasing the profile of Autistic people and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. I took over as Chair of SAAS in 2019 and am an advocate of expertise by experience as I believe this is the best way to facilitate autistic wellbeing.

Hi, I’m Liz and I discovered SAAS in March 2021 after being diagnosed with Autism in middle age, discovering SAAS basically changed my life, it has empowered me to realise who I am and what I want to do in my future. I am bringing skills from my previous careers which will benefit the vision of SAAS.

Hi, I’m Edd and I discovered SAAS in 2022 after realising that I had spent my life as an undiagnosed Autistic. SAAS has profoundly helped me and now I aim to use my skills and experience to forward this initiative and make it the best that it can be so that others may benefit from it as I was.
Rosie Hammond

Hi, I’m Rosie. I joined SAAS as a member when I was first diagnosed, to find like minded souls. From there I volunteered on the chats for a little bit and I realised that I love helping others and wish to pursue this as a career choice. In my role, it’s important to me that I can help make a difference to those who are misunderstood and do what comes naturally, by providing life advice which I’ve learned through my own experiences.

The Trustees
A high proportion of the office team and trustees have ASC, some were diagnosed in childhood and others were diagnosed in adulthood, therefore we bring a wide variety of knowledge and skills to enable us to provide support and practical advice.
