Who We Are

Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society

  • We are a Staffordshire based charity founded in May 2007 by Kevin Healey. In 2019 the charity became an incorporated organisation to offer support to individuals both before and after diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition “ASC”
  • We work with individuals who are over the age of 16, as well as providing support and advice to families of people with ASC
  • We also offer guidance to employers to meet the needs of both employees and clients
  • We have weekly social meetings around Staffordshire that enable people to socialise in a comfortable and non judgemental environment

Mission Statement

SAAS aims to promote and protect the physical and mental health of adults with ASC through the provision of support, practical advice and by raising awareness and understanding of ASC.

To relieve distress of adults with ASC through the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare, for recreation or other leisure time occupations for adults in the area with ASC, with the objective of improving their conditions of life.
